TWIST IN MY REALITY

Gwen Hunter Ritchie, originally from South Florida, attended S.U.N.Y Purchase in New York and the University of South Florida where she received her BA in Dance.  She began her professional performing career with Liz Lerman and the Dance Exchange in Washington D.C., and then went on to work with Lesa McLaughlin and Dancers (D.C.), Lower Left Dance (San Diego), and the Kevin Wynn Collection (NYC).  For four years, Gwen was with San Diego based Malashock Dance and Company, where she was both a company member and assistant to the director.  She worked as a company member for Dance Alloy in Pittsburgh, under the direction of Mark Taylor from 1998-2003. She performed works by Sean Curran, Tere O'Connor, David Rousseve, Miguel Gutierrez, Sarah Skaggs, Lisa Race, Jennifer Keller, Jeanine Durning, Nina Martin, Pavel Zustiak, Ursula Payne, Teena Marie Custer, and Mark Taylor. Most recently she has performed in works by Staycee Pearl, Gesel Mason & Tim O'Donnell, Nada Diachenko, Erika Randall, Chrissy Nelson, Rosely Conz, Bailey Anderson, and Ondine Geary.
